Item Description:
- This traditional Huichol eagle necklace features a white base and 4 shades of blue. In the center, the peyote design features 4 shades of green.
- This piece uses two very common and significant Huichol symbols (eagle and peyote). The Eagle is considered the Mother Spirit and she is believed to connect the heavens to the Earth. Peyote is sacred and is used by Shaman and ceremony participants to "connect" to the spirit world.
Together the two symbolize our connection with the Earth and with the spirit world and can symbolize enlightenment and good fortune.
- The bead work is all made with very strong synthetic thread.
